Stronghold Global Finance took part in the Investment COP at the World Climate Summit in Glasgow, a leading forum for business and investment-driven solutions to climate change, acknowledging the essential importance of collaboration and the “bottom-up” perspective in solving climate change.
The Investment COP took place in Glasgow during COP26, and was linked to the priority action areas and ambition of the COP26 Presidency, built on net-zero climate commitments and strengthened networks that connect the global low carbon economy in a platform for governments, investors and project developers to discuss opportunities, partnerships and suitable framework conditions for investing in clean energy and climate technology.
Our organisation supports the transition to a sustainable, low carbon world whereby financial institutions and our clients manage strategies and innovation to create the net zero-carbon economy of the future.
Our climate change message:
At Stronghold Global Finance we are passionate about unlocking climate-related investment in emerging markets. We are committed to supporting businesses to respond to the challenges of climate change and work with them towards the goals of Paris Agreement and the UN Framework convention on Climate Change. Our commitment to successfully deliver energy efficient and renewable energy projects demonstrates our contribution towards climate action and climate change adaptation initiatives.
We strongly believe that sustainable financing in foreign direct investment is the most important factor to be considered for the ultimate success of projects in emerging markets, as mid to mega sized projects require a blended finance approach, creativity and diversity in capital sources. Stronghold’s strategy is to utilise its world class talent and resources to ensure the successful delivery of projects in emerging markets and deployment of institutional capital by bridging the funding gap towards climate initiatives with its investment banking services tailored for the benefit of the emerging world.
We acknowledge that climate change is one of the most pressing issues of our times and we focus on preparing countries and companies for the transition to a lower carbon economy by highlighting the incentives and benefits in terms of easier access to capital. Climate change is a global issue, so is the need to access capital. In Stronghold Global Finance we see this as a global challenge and opportunity for the business community and for the global community of investors.
